FAQ
Whether you think you want to run a business, join the army, start a church, or raise a family, Vision Year will help you
start that journey with a godly foundation. Discovering who God is and understanding our identity in Him
sets us up for greater success in whatever door He opens next.
When does Vision Year begin and end?
Vision Year begins on August 21, 2019 and end May 8, 2020
What is the purpose of a Vision year?
Life is full of transitions. None more critical than your teens and 20s. Studies show college students are changing majors
at higher rates than ever. Students who have more time to think and pray about their next step are more likely to stick with
their decision. If done right, Vision Year helps students learn more about themselves and prepare for the future.
Think of Vision Year as a bridge from now to what’s next.
Does the tuition cover credited classes?
No, Vision Year tuition is not accredited. However, we encourage all students to attend Northwest University
or any other school of their choice. Students must schedule their classes around the Vision Year schedule. Some students
go online and take advantage of our special Northwest University discounted price or choose a different school that
works with the Vision Year schedule.
How can I get more information on your academic partnership program with Northwest University?
Some benefits of going through our online partnership program is reduced academic tuition cost, and the ability to gain free credits
per semester for being a Vision Year student and actively serving at New Life Church.

Do you supply housing?
We do not supply housing. We encourage students to live with family or rent with groups of friends.
Is there time for school and/or a job?
We encourage all students to leave Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays for school and work. Tuesdays-Thursdays and Sundays
need to be clear for Vision Year; the schedule of these days are likely to change week to week.
How do I pay for Vision Year?
A $250 non refundable payment is do by July 15th that will be credited to your last payment on April 15th. $1,000
is do by August 21st and $281.25 on the 15th of every month.
What if I am over 22 years old?
We offer an online-based academic program through our partner, Northwest University. Some benefits of going through
our online partnership program is reduced academic tuition cost, and the ability to gain free credits per semester for
actively serving at New Life Church during our weekend gatherings and major yearly events.
